University of Bucharest

If you are planning to study math or computer science in Romania you should definitely check out this university. The main thing that I like about this university is the teachers’ approach. Most of them are extremely well prepared and also enthusiastic to share with the students all their knowledge.

Every day I attend the university and I'm not sorry to be here! At the University of Bucharest, teachers taught internships with earnest and diligent. Many things I have learned here, for it is the source of knowledge. The University offers many opportunities such as Erasmus, volunteering in European companies and practice in the field you are studying. Here I have made many friends with whom I work in my field. I'm proud of this university because it was my dream and it was done.

Overall my experience has been great. I don't like the structure of the courses, it is pretty difficult to follow or to learn effectively from them. Also, online availability isn't a standard yet. The good part is that I feel the university makes many attempts through advertisement, jobs fairs and networking and it offers enough time for personal development.

I have chosen this faculty because it is one of the most important faculties of the University of Bucharest, being very appreciated abroad and the best in Romania. One of the aspects I appreciate the most is the fact that teachers are experienced, really qualified, determined and willing to teach. The information is well-structured and coherent, although there is no online alternative for the courses, which is a downside.

It's one of the most active National Universities in our Country located in the center of the Capital City. We had several practices during the Bachelor's and Master's degree. We gathered a lot of useful information and also combined knowledge with practical activities in different locations of the country in the environmental field. We managed to understand the environment and to share our knowledge to people around us but the main problem in our country is that the hiring opportunities in this field are very low. Could be just a national problem and maybe we didn't have the support from the University in order to follow our domain.

The teachers are extremely involved in the professional development of the peers, good practice placement opportunities and further chances in the labor market! Erasmus scholarships available to students all over the world, and the UNI has great connections with other educational institutions in EU and abroad!

You get to learn a lot of things useful to your domain at the University of Bucharest and of course you come around with curricula that simply are of no interest to you. Besides that the internships are great and if they would be also paid in the near future than it will be almost perfect.
