DOCTORAL SCHOOL OF POLITICAL SCIENCES

The Doctoral School of Political Science of the University of Bucharest was established in 2005 by taking over the doctoral program of political science of the University of Bucharest started in 1999. Doctoral studies are organized for 3 years. In the first semester, two courses are taught (prof. Dr. Gheorghe Lencan Stoica; prof. Univ. Dr. Stelian Tănase), and during the other 5 semesters the emphasis is on the research necessary for writing doctoral theses. In the first semesters of years I and II, PhD students take a course in research methodology.
