Athens University of Economics and Business

Athens University of Economics and Business is the best university in Greece to study Economics, Finance, and Business Administration in my opinion. Students have many opportunities to expand their knowledge, challenge themselves and broaden their horizons through many courses. Even if the students have not decided exactly where they want to specialize there is a wide variety of courses to choose from. Most professors are easily reachable to solve any questions and help students become successful at what they wish to do. The location and the facilities though do not stand up to the expectations I had from such a university.

I was a postgraduate student at this university studying service management and consulting. All of my professors were prestigious and very experience both in academic and professional topics as most of them worked in industries. Paying attention to develop technical and soft skills, they had created a series of interactive sessions to equip us with all the necessary skills to be a competitive candidate. I didn't like the infrastructures and I found the IT equipment quite obsolete but the campus is centrally located and easily reached by bus. Overall, it is a good choice for someone who wants to gain insight into the business sector.

Athens University of Economics and Business is a very old business school that manages to be one of the best universities in Greece. It is equipped with prestigious professors and researchers that have both academic and professional experience and excellence. Being a postgraduate student, I managed to develop my soft skills and gain expertise in my desired field while I had the chance to expand my network as we had sessions and lectures from people working in businesses and pharmaceutical industries. I would recommend it for an MSc or an MBA to someone who wants to increase his/her challenge to get better career prospects but the infrastructures,IT support and equipment are quite poor and obsolete and that has an impact on teaching.

Amazing teachers, high quality courses, and immediate professional rehabilitation. I personally worked only 2 months after my graduation. The name of the ASOC is very attractive for each employer. Student life is excellent there, and prices are particularly affordable.

The university has a variety of modules taught on different topics. They cover all the functions in a business which is good as the students get an overall overview. There is also the option of taking a route besides business administration which gives you the opportunity to focus on a topic of your interest. Overall it is a good course providing students with a clear understanding of how business work and in which domains they would like to get involved.

My university offers an all round and in-depth knowledge of how contemporary organisations operate. I like the most to be a part of groups and take part in assignments. In this way, I cultivated my group spirit. I would recommend it to a friend because it is a great university which offers a lot of opportunities.
