University of Dundee

During 2016, I had my Master's degree there and the students' service was perfect since my first days until the last. I really can't recommend a University in general. I feel that it definitely would be a different experience than what I had, depends on different collages and different student personalities.

What I like the most about the university is how to engage they are to their students, the constant improvement of academic curriculums and the wide range of opportunities offered. There are areas that still need improvement but there is a clear sense of accountability and desire to work towards a better university system from administration.

The University is literally in the heart of the city centre, with every facility at a walking distance. Dundee being the fourth biggest city of Scotland it is highly welcoming to international students and generally people from all walks of life. The busy mornings and quiet nights were the highlight for me. The University has a huge Student Union, run by the students themselves, which is perfect for all the party people and caters to students for all types of problems as well. Lastly, University of Dundee is really generous with scholarships and bursaries. Almost all international students I interacted with had some sort of an award to finance their tuition fee.

Amazing university and a great experience for me. I really think it's the best option to live a full college experience. The level of studies and teachers is good, besides being a campus a long time ago. Then you have the option of the village that also has a lot of life.

The University of Dundee is situated in the Scottish city of Dundee which has a population of approximately 150, 000 people. The main campus of the University is situated just 10 minutes away from the center of the city. There are accommodation sites for first-year students very close to the main campus as well. It is no coincidence that the university was named the University of the year for student experience for the year 2020. The Student Union called DUSA turns into a nightclub after 12 and attracts students from all over Scotland due to its popularity. The University of Dundee is an excellent choice for international students as well because of the variety of students from different nationalities who are accepted every year. The city of Dundee is small but since almost 20, 000 students live there, it has all the necessary sites for unbelievable student experience, lots of bars, cafe's, 2 cinemas, great parks and a lot of sports sites. The university offers more than 45 different sports and the university teams compete in many tournaments throughout the year. The level of teaching at the university is very high, with many experienced lecturers who are world-renowned for their achievements and well-known in their fields of study.
