Mathematics at Imperial aims to present a wide range of mathematical ideas in a way that develops your critical and intellectual abilities. On the BSc in Mathematics with Applied Mathematics/Mathematical Physics, you will specialise in Applied Mathematics in your third year, when you take at least six modules from a variety of relevant topics such as dynamics of games, mathematical biology and scientific computation. The modules will focus on how mathematical methods can be used to solve problems in physics or the other sciences. Your remaining optional modules can be chosen from our wide selection of topics in other areas of mathematics, many of which are linked to our cutting edge research.
