Social anthropology (also known as ethnology or cultural anthropology) deals with the social and cultural conditions of human existence and the interaction processes between groups of people. These conditions and processes include how societies collectively regulate access to vital resources, how they organize socially, politically and cognitively, how they symbolically and religiously represent themselves, and how they are influenced by local and global processes.
