Bachelor in Bio Medical Sciences

The duration of the study program for a Bachelor s degree in Biomedical Sciences is three years. The program aims to provide students with knowledge of human biology in its various forms and of its expression in the proper and abnormal functioning of the human body. The Teaching Division prepares students for further academic studies and research for Master s and doctoral degrees in all branches of life sciences and medicine at higher education institutions in Israel and worldwide. Graduates are also trained for professions requiring broad knowledge of human biology, such as work in research laboratories and diagnostic laboratories in hospitals, health funds, the Ministry of Health, the pharmaceutical industry, and biotechnology industries. The program also provides training for administrative work in institutions and organizations that require premedical background and knowledge.
