The study program in statistics is based on basic studies in mathematics and programming. The basic knowledge in programming is given to the students in the course given at the beginning of the first year. The knowledge acquired in this course is required to be implemented later in the studies. Basic mathematical knowledge was acquired in compulsory courses of first and second year. In these courses students are required to study differential and integral calculus, linear algebra, and probability. The basic training in statistics is granted in the second year, first in a basic introductory course with the field of statistical heating, and later in a more advanced course in statistical theory and a course in linear models. In the third year, the students are required to use the knowledge acquired in a laboratory course, which demonstrates various applications of statistics.
