The division of Family Studies and Human Development (FSHD) provides more than just a curriculum for its majors. Students have the opportunity to enhance their classroom learning through involvement in a variety of non-classroom experiences, faculty-supervised research experiences, and student organizations such as the FSHD Ambassadors and the Family Studies Student Round Table (FSSRT). One hallmark of the FSHD undergraduate program is an emphasis on hands-on work experience.
