At the end of a six year program, Dental Medicine graduates possess the technical skills and knowledge required to operate as professional figures in the field of public and private dentistry. Graduates will also have developed the learning skills needed to pursue specialist degrees. Students are trained in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment, either surgical or medical, of acquired conditions and congenital disorders of the teeth, mouth, jaw bones, temporo-mandibular joints and related tissues, as well as in dental rehabilitation.
