Women s Studies is concerned with the diversity of women. In this program you'll explore the social construction and variability of gender, and how power relations linked to race and ethnicity, social class, sexual orientation and ability/disability impact the lives of women locally and globally. During the course of your studies you'll gain creative thinking skills, research and analytical capabilities, written and verbal communication skills, and cross-disciplinary understandings. As a Women s Studies graduate, you'll be prepared for career opportunities in areas such as the civil service, the non-profit sector, and the business world.
