BA French and Italian

Both departments encourage strong synergy between research and teaching, resulting in a vibrant learning environment for our students as staff respond in their teaching to new research. French at Bristol has particular strengths in the relationship between visual, musical and literary cultures. Italian has strengths in modern politics and culture as well as in Italy's medieval and Renaissance heritage.
