This course is an integrated four-year undergraduate Masters course. It has been designed to enable you to gain a balanced understanding of Human and Physical Geography and Geographical Information Systems (GIS). The course aims to extend your comprehension of key geographical concepts, provide you with an in-depth understanding of specialised areas of geography and develop the ability to adapt and apply geographical thinking and methodologies to the solution of real-world issues. You will also develop a range of transferable skills that will prepare you for professional employment upon graduation. In addition, you will gain a critical awareness of advances at the forefront of geographical research to prepare you effectively for doctoral studies in the geographical sciences.
