Masters in Language and Linguistics in Japanese

The specialisation in Japanese is aimed at those with a desire to pursue deeper studies in Japanese linguistics. In their second term students will follow two courses focusing partly on the reading and translation of texts on Japanese theoretical linguistics, and partly on classical Japanese. This module, together with the courses in general linguistics offered within the Master s Programme, provides the student with a solid theoretical foundation. Students may also write their master s thesis on a topic related to Japanese linguistics.
