The Bachelor of Music in Music Media and Production (B.M.) is a fouryear degree that trains the students in composition in a variety of styles and in the use of technology appropriate for the music industry. Students are required to take courses in classical composition, song writing, pop music, and film music. In addition, this degree requires the student to perform in an ensemble each semester while enrolled in the degree and lessons in a principle instrument. It also requires courses in theory, ear training, orchestration, music history, and music technology. The culmination of the degree is a senior recital that consists entirely of compositions written by the student.
