More details about the program

Description

Film and Video Studies (FVS) is an interdisciplinary major grounded in film, communication theory, and history. In FVS, students will learn how to think about, analyze, integrate, and apply the foundational theories of the film & video discipline through production and theory courses. Motivated students develop an interdisciplinary and individualized program for further study of film, video, and new media or they enter the workforce in a creative capacity. To maximize job prospects after graduation, students are encouraged to pursue a second major or minors in a related field connected to interests and abilities, and will seek internships to enhance their abilities.
