This Master's Degree major encompasses the following student goals: to deepen knowledge of the broad field of Greek language and literature; to deepen knowledge of linguistics (above all in morphology/word formation); to strengthen skills for independent academic work and also for the presentation of the meaningful questions and issues of the literature and the cultural history of antiquity, as well the creative application of the texts of antiquity to test and prove the methodology of other subject-matters and positions (transfer); to recognise and evaluate necessary skills and intercultural background knowledge.
