Fashion Design at DMU is creative and dynamic, allowing you to experience and understand the constant flux and evolution of the fashion industry. The first year provides grounding in fashion and design through practical, creative and technical classes and projects. The second year is more focused, with the emphasis on experimentation, in-depth project research and 3D development. You will develop new skills such as tailoring and fashion prediction, and work on collaborative projects with industry. The major project in the third year gives you the opportunity to set your own briefs and design and produce a final collection, as well as entering national and international competitions.
