Description

Master the skills you need to support and care for women with PCOS Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a very common condition that is often poorly understood and under-diagnosed. On this course for healthcare professionals, you’ll explore the latest evidence-based approaches to the diagnosis, management and care of women with PCOS. Ultimately, you’ll gain new skills and learn a practical, interdisciplinary model of care - which can help improve the quality of life for women affected by PCOS. Through this, you’ll help to reduce the financial burden on health systems across the world. This course has been designed for health professionals involved in the care of women with PCOS, specifically, general health practitioners, medical specialists and allied health professionals. It may also be of benefit to other healthcare professionals involved in the care of women with PCOS. For example: dietitians, exercise physiologists, nurse practitioners, endocrinologists, gynaecologists, counsellors, psychologists, fertility specialists and dermatologists. You should have a good knowledge of science, medicine and healthcare practice.
