MASTERS ENERGY TRANSITION AT LOCAL SCALE (TET)

Environmental issues (climate change and atmospheric pollution), pressures on finite resources, the slow movement towards decentralisation, the conditions are in place for an energy transition and for it to be the regions, in their diversity and their scale, which will be the main actors of this transition. However, this implies engaging people who have simultaneously: real technical competence in the thermal and/or energy sphere; technical competence with regards to energy efficiency in transport or construction; competences in energy-saving, project financing and business plan and business model development; knowledge and analysis of public policies, geo-strategy and the regulatory framework; competences in infrastructures; mastery of appropriate optimisation tools; a capacity to assess and foster the adoption of new energy models. It is because its research laboratories work on these different dimensions dimensions that École des Ponts ParisTech decided to set up the Masters Energy Transition At Local Scale.
