Description
The Master in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (MEEE) is guided by a constant perspective of applied research and development, and is focused on the research and solution of concrete problems.
It aims to provide a solid cultural and technical background in Electrical Engineering, aiming to develop the capabilities of innovation and critical analysis. It allows the acquisition of scientific knowledge of a technical and practical nature and its applications, in order to continue studies and the exercise of professional activities.
The MEEE is structured in large areas of knowledge: the "Information Technology and Computing" and "Telecommunications and Electronics", materialized in the specialization of "Information Technology and Telecommunications"; and the "Energy Systems" and "Automation and Control", materialized in the specialization of "Energy and Control Systems".

The Masters in Electrical and Electronic Engineering are qualified to exercise the profession of Engineer, and / or to work in research and development and to continue studies. Depending on the areas of knowledge and the courses chosen the graduate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering acquires competences in: Telecommunications; Electronics; Information Technologies; Computation; Electric Power Systems; Automatic Control; Automation; Instrumentation; Internet of Things; Human-Computer Interaction; Machine Learning; Renewable energy; among others.
