A chemical engineer will be a professional with the knowledge necessary to design processes and products related to the conception, calculation, construction, launch and preparation of equipment and facilities where processes take place in which matter experiences changes in its composition, state, energy content or reactivity. These are characteristics of the chemical industry and related sectors, such as the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food and environmental sectors.
