Bachelor's Programme Architecture

The full-time programme takes six semesters and is divided into compulsory subjects (146 ECTS), electives (16 ECTS), free optional subjects (12 ECTS) and soft skills (6 ECTS). The introductory and orientation phase (StEOP) comprises the courses Orientation Course and Contemporary Architecture. Admission to the exercises from the second semester onwards requires the completion of further subjects from the first semester. The first semester thus serves not only to introduce students to the basics of the subject, but above all to review their choice of study and the necessary basic requirements for an artistic-scientific course of study. The second semester concludes the orientation programme. From the third semester onwards, the basic study period includes the gradual development of competences, which are applied integratively in the final Bachelor's thesis, an architectural design.
