Description

Students in the architecture program at the Knowlton School learn to understand formal and spatial relationships and the impact of ideas based on the research and analysis of cultural, social, political, economic and environmental contexts. They experiment with materials, structures and building systems to gain an understanding of design. Ohio State offers a 4+2 program in architecture. The four-year, pre-professional Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree provides a strong foundation for students to enter the workforce or to continue their studies. Many students will pursue a two-year NAAB-accredited, professional Master of Architecture in order to be eligible for future licensure as an architect. Please explore the other Knowlton School majors of landscape architecture and city and regional planning.
