This University is a good place for studies and exchange possibilities. Its a nice place for students who are scientific minded and want to know more about research based studies.It has many courses available in English and good destination for foreign students to gain knowledge in areas of business, Political sciences and humanities,

Studied law studies in this university. Pluses: * Can choose your own lectures. * Can learn English. * Can meet different people. * University seems to have free worldview, you can be whoever you want. Minuses: * I don't think I have enough knowledge in law, it was very easy to graduate this uni. * They say their strategy to learn is to discuss - it isn't true. There are not many discussions, no seminars. * Faculty is kinda far away from the centre of town.

It is difficult not to love VMU. Even before arriving at Kaunas, I got all of the answers to my really numerous questions. So starting from my beloved International Office, to whom I am so thankful, getting a mentor, meeting amazing professors, who dedicate attention and teach useful and interesting topics, I really can not moan about a lot of things. The only thing which surprised me was that there is no canteen, but that is not such a big deal because it is really easy to be informed about places where you could eat tasty food for the cheap money.

All teachers in this university are really friendly, try to help if there are some problems. Studies is really flexible, lots of abilities to choose subjects by yourself. University is best at humanities sciences, economy, but it is good and for other fields - for example, I'm studying Informatics and I like it.

VDU is a good University with not bad international ranking. The environment of classes are very international. The international office is very supportive for international students. There are a lot of Erasmus and Exchange options available. The University is trying to getting better and better with the time. The problems, the low wages in Lithuania result with low profiled teaching staff in Universities. Maybe Lithuanian Government and VDU administration work on hiring better teachers mainly for International classes.

If I could remote time back, I definitely again will choose VDU for studies, it's not easy and not impossible its possible to study in it. Because of VDU, i have lot friends, and they become my life part.its totally the best option to create your future.
