Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (also referred to as The International University of Catalonia) is a private university located in the Spanish city of Barcelona, Catalonia.
It was founded in October 1997 and offers students a wide range of undergraduate, graduate and doctoral courses ranging from economics and social sciences to dentistry and health sciences.
It is a part of the Live University Network. Students are able to study abroad through the student mobility programmes and as part of the student network agreements with more than 300 universities across the world.
Universitat Internacional de Catalunya has multiple research institutes such as the University Institute for Patient Care, Institute for Multilingualism, Institute of Advanced Family Studies, Bioengineering Institute of Technology and the Research Institute for Evaluation and Public Policies.
The Universitat Internacional de Catalunya is spread over two large campuses: Sant Cugat Campus which is over 24,300 square metres and the Barcelona Campus which is over 23,500 square metres.
The campus hosts a wide range of facilities such as the Comprehensive Centre for Advanced Stimulation, Dental Preclinical Laboratory, and model workshops and libraries. The university also organises several events, workshops and activities every year.
