Universidad Autónoma de Chile

Located in the cities of Santiago, Talca and Temuco, Universidad Autonoma de Chile is a private non-profit institution established in 1989.

It is devoted to further the study of sciences regarding not only their academic and research purposes, but also in strong connection with the needs of its communities, reinforced by highly skilled faculty members, and the permanent development of its facilities and equipment.

For over 30 years it has trained students with a focus in student-centered, cross-sectional, and lifelong learning education, as well as a strong sense of social responsibility in their professional practice. Quality assurance is a key element at Universidad Autonoma de Chile. This has enabled the university to successfully meet standards and criteria of government and international accreditation agencies.

It undertakes the challenge of evolving to a more complex higher education institution by boosting graduate programs and encouraging, promoting, guiding, and enhancing scientific and technological research. The goal is to increase the creation, transfer, and impact of knowledge generation, leveraging the value of national and international collaboration.
