Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance is a music and dance conservatoire located in the London, the UK.
It was established in 2005 as an academic merger between two reputed institutions – Trinity College of Music and the Laban Dance Centre. The institution of higher learning offers graduate and postgraduate courses in music and dance and theatre in a wide range of subjects ranging from jazz music, strings and vocal studies among others.
The conservatoire enjoys a strong reputation as a leading institution for music and dance training. It has been accredited by the Arts Council of England.
Trinity Laban Conservatoire also has a number of notable alumni, which include some of the biggest names in their respective industries such as choreographer Lea Anderson, actress Radhika Apte, conductor Howard Arman and photographer Peter Arnold among many others.
It is a highly selective school, and all students must audition in order to gain acceptance.
The conservatoire also runs a programme called Junior Trinity for young musicians aged between 5-19, who are keen of perusing a musical career.
It is spread across three campuses located in Greenwich, Deptford and New Cross and there are a wide range of amenities ranging from accommodation to career support.
Several activities and events are organised each year by different student clubs in the campus. There is a vibrant and diverse student union on Grenwich the campus and the conservatoire regularly collaborates with several leading industry experts to provide performing opportunity for its students.
