The Polytechnic University of Bari is the youngest of Italy’s three polytechnic universities, having first opened in 1990. It was born out of the former engineering and architecture departments at the University of Bari. As a result, the university focuses primarily on STEM subjects and architecture.
The Polytechnic University of Bari offers two, three and five year degree courses to students. It shares its main campus with the University of Bari in the south of the city centre on the Via Orabona street. The polytechnic also has sites in Foggia and Taranto.
The institution partners with several foreign partners so students can gain a diploma at the University of Bari, as well as a master of science from their home university
