National Research Nuclear University MEPhI

National Research Nuclear University MEPHI was founded in 1942. In 2009 it united 10 higher and 13 specialised secondary educational establishments to train specialists for nuclear and other high-tech spheres.

The educational process is based on fundamental physics and mathematics studies and engineer training, and stipulates active research work.

The strategic goal of MEPHI is to become a global leader in education, science and innovation in nuclear, radiation, subnano- and nano-technologies and engineering, providing a significant contribution to the innovation-driven growth and the competitiveness of the Rosatom State Corporation and other leading Russian high-tech companies in global markets.
