Description
The maintenance and promotion of health and productivity of working people is of great importance from a personal, economic and socio-political point of view. The preventive medical care of companies by occupational medical facilities not only ensures that people do not fall ill through their work, but can also have a broadly beneficial effect on health in the “company” setting. Occupational health professionals play an important role in this.
Occupational medical assistants support occupational physicians in the planning, preparation, implementation and follow-up of their tasks operationally and administratively. Among other things, you will be involved in risk assessments, occupational medical examination procedures and the implementation of preventive measures.
Requirement
According to the Employee Protection Act or the ordinance on occupational medicine and safety technology centers, there is an obligation to employ the specialist and auxiliary staff necessary for occupational medical care.
