What can sociological concepts and perspectives contribute to our understanding of the world we live in today? On our Sociology short course, you will be encouraged to draw on your own experiences and use key sociological concepts to explore contemporary social issues and debates.
We will cover topics including:
individualism and social fragmentation
the causes and consequences of social inequalities with a specific focus on class, gender and ethnicity
