Social science develops basic knowledge that can identify various laws and essences flowing throughout society, diagnose various problems, and prescribe countermeasures. It has academic goals. In the College of Social Sciences, on the basis of our founding ideology and educational purpose, in connection with the academic characteristics of social science, “by providing the ability to analyze and synthesize various phenomena of human beings and society, The educational goal is to nurture creative and practical talents who can cope with an internationalized and diversified society.” Sejong University's College of Social Sciences consists of four departments: Economics and Trade, Public Administration, Journalism and Broadcasting, and Chinese Trade. To support research, the College of Social Sciences has affiliated research institutes such as the International Economic Research Institute, State Administration Research Center, Media Public Relations Research Center, and National Strategy Research Institute to publish periodicals. are supporting
