Description
The master's degree course in SCIENCES AND TECHNIQUES OF PREVENTIVE AND ADAPTED MOTOR ACTIVITIES (LM 67) continues the training course started with the three-year degree in Sciences of Motor and Sports Activities, includes and develops the system of theories, methodologies and operational contents, mainly related to educational sciences and biomedical sciences and their relationships, for the design, management, evaluation of preventive and adapted motor activities intended for: subjects in developmental age, adults, elderly, special populations (disabled persons, subjects in disability situation, drug addicts, inmates,people suffering from pathologies affecting the different systems and apparatuses and requiring motor activity paths adapted to their physical condition and their health conditions).
Educational objectives:
- Recognize the epistemological frames of reference from which to derive the methodologies of adapted motor activities;
- Analyze the contribution of biomedical sciences in preventive and adapted motor activities;
- Analyze the contribution of educational and social sciences to preventive and adapted motor activities;
- Recognize the training needs referring to multiple users (children, disabled, situation disabled, adults, elderly, adult sports enthusiasts, etc.)
- Design, conduct and evaluate motor activity paths adapted for the prevention and recovery of injuries;
- Define objectives for "adapted" physical activity for different age groups and cognitive, emotional-affective, social and motor needs;
- Evaluate through different methods, systematic observation, testing, use of tools and equipment, the learning process of preventive and adapted motor activities.
The training course aims to provide students with knowledge and skills suitable for proposing and implementing methodological innovation in the field of motor and sports activities aimed at different ages of life and for those affected by congenital or acquired physical and psychological pathologies, in the course of chronic and impact on social participation capacity. The course is therefore aimed at acquiring knowledge and understanding the anatomical, physiological and pathophysiological mechanisms of the main categories of multifactorial pathologies subject to stabilization, necessary for the design and implementation of "adapted" physical activities, aimed at maintaining the conditions of health achieved and the prevention of organic and psychological complications. L' attention is focused on postural defects, dysmetabolic syndromes, chronic cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, oncological diseases and the consequences of their treatments, aimed at acquiring the effective ability to design specific motor and sports interventions for these categories of subjects. The other courses focus the attention on preventive motor activity in the developmental, adult and senile age and on epidemiological and sociological methods for assessing the quality of life and lifestyles. Additional teaching modules will be provided for the design of motor activities for the elderly, motor and sports activities for people with disabilities and motor and sports activities for free time and in the natural environment. dysmetabolic syndromes, chronic cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, oncological diseases and the consequences of their treatments, aimed at acquiring the effective ability to design specific motor and sports interventions for these categories of subjects.
