There are three levels of diplomas: License , Master , Doctorate (LMD). The professional license , accessible after a validated bac+2 level (4 semesters of license, DUT or BTS), is most of the time accessible under an apprenticeship or professionalization contract. Intended for immediate professional integration, it is set up with the professional branches.
The University Bachelor of Technology (BUT), meanwhile, replaces the University Diploma of Technology (DUT), from the start of the 2021 academic year. This new 3-year diploma is a professional training, designed in line with the expectations of the professional world.
The areaScience and Technology is made up of two UFRs: the Faculty of Sciences UFR which brings together Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, the Biosciences UFR which brings together Biology and Biochemistry and three component departments: GEP (Electrical Engineering and Processes), Computer Science and Mechanical. They welcome students mainly from the baccalaureate and lead them to a national diploma: License, Professional License, Master and Doctorate.
