BA in Sociology and Psychology

The department offers a double-major program to the students of Economics, History, Philosophy, Political Science and International Relations, and Psychology. The undergraduate program of the Department of Sociology is designed to enhance the student's capacity for critical analysis and understanding of social issues. It provides a broad cultural background combined with rigorous training in the major theoretical issues and research methods of sociological analysis. Students have the opportunity to take a range of courses that will prepare them for positions involving teaching, research, and administration in a variety of organizational settings.
