BA Sport Communication

The Sport Communication Option (SCO) is an interdisciplinary program that prepares students to pursue careers within the areas of sport and broadcast media. The purpose of this option is to provide a program of study that offers an opportunity for students to apply the theoretical and practical dimensions of sport electronic, print, and broadcast media. Students who complete the program require- ments will earn a B.S. degree in Physical Education with an option in Sport Communication. The degree recipient will NOT qualify for teaher certification in Physical Education.
