With European Studies, you will study one additional subject and a modern language. In second year students undertake a one-week field trip to the Leuven Institute in Brussels, which includes a visit to the European Parliament. In your third year you get the opportunity to spend the year abroad, on an Erasmus exchange year, where you will immerse yourself in the culture and language of a foreign country. This year abroad will do wonders for your understanding of that country's culture, as well as benefiting your personal growth and enhancing your employment prospects once you graduate.
