Bachelor of Arts in Slavic Studies

This programme is focused on Slavic philology and the languages, literatures, and cultures of Slavic-speaking peoples. At the University of Oldenburg, Russia and Poland are the main focal areas, but Ukrainian is also included. In some cases, other Slavic cultures are dealt with in a comparative manner. The core areas of Slavic philology are literature studies and linguistics, and didactics in the case of students studying to become teachers.
