BA in Chinese Classics

The educational ideals of the S.C.C. are based on classics, returning to tradition, and geared toward modern times and synthesizing interdisciplinary studies , which try to mingle the knowledge and morality together. On training program, instead of general-introduction teaching model, Chinese Classics Class concentrates on intensive reading of Chinese classics, accompanied by the training of textology, traditional philology, phonology and exegetics. The curriculum is made of theoretical courses and academic history courses to enhance students awareness of academic interest and achieve the multi-interdisciplinary cultivation. We are expecting to create top faculty members, top conditions and top environment by implementing small-class system, tutorial system and annual thesis system.
