Bachelor in Information Science

The Department of Library and Information Science offers a high-quality professional education programs based on the practices and underlying theories of information acquisition, organization, transmission, and utilization. Students learn using the latest technology and methods to reference, research, organizing information, and other professional tasks.Information Science courses cover production, collection, search, and distribution of information including theories and techniques of information retrieval, design and evaluation of information retrieval system. Students learn various computer application programs such as operating systems, programming languages, database design, and computer communication.
