Bioinformatics HBSc

Bioinformatics involves the computational analysis of gene and genome sequences as well as functional genomic data. It is an interdisciplinary science that requires strong backgrounds in computer science and molecular biology, and good knowledge of mathematics, statistics, chemistry, genetics and evolutionary biology. Bioinformatics involves the integration of computers, software tools, and databases in an effort to address biological questions.
