The bachelor masters the basic disciplines supporting the life sciences (biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics) and can solve biomedical problems on the basis of this.The bachelor can draw up a scientifically correct research question from existing specialist literature. Based on this he/she can formulate and plan a simple research setup. For this the bachelor uses his/her knowledge of structure, function and mechanism of biomolecules, cells, tissues, organs and systems of the human body and their molecular, biochemical, genetic, metabolic and immunological processes.
