The predecessor of this department was the Aviation Group of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Success. It was officially independent of the Department of Aeronautical Engineering in the past 65 years. In the 72nd year, the Ministry of Education established the Institute of Aerospace in the University. In the 74th year, the Department of the University and the Institute More closely and consistently, the aviation department was renamed the Department of Aerospace Engineering, or aerospace.
