If you're interested in service, social justice and working with individuals as well as organizations and communities, a social work major -- or minor -- is a great fit. At PLU, you'll learn how to provide tangible resources for those in need; interview and write social histories; complete psychosocial assessments; provide case management services; and work effectively with individuals, families, small groups, communities and organizations across many settings. You'll also learn about current social welfare policies -- and how to influence them.
