BA Social Welfare

Educational objectives of the Department of Social Welfare in Hallym University are to foster professionals in the field of social welfare who work in governments, public institutions, and domestic and overseas social welfare agencies for the improvement of well-being of people. Since 1982 when the department was established, the Department of Social Welfare in Hallym University has committed to educate practice-oriented professionals in social welfare areas. As a result, great numbers of graduates have played central roles in various social welfare areas. Recently, the department has promoted best educational environments such as opening lectures taught in English, providing opportunities for overseas training and exchange students programs to improve the competence of students as professionals in globalized environments.
