BA in Islamic Studies

At the Christian-Albrechts-Universit t zu Kiel (CAU) you can study Islamic studies as a two-subject bachelors degree with the profile complementary. During your studies you will get to know the world of the Middle East from Morocco to Afghanistan in depth. You will learn the languages that are spoken and written in the region (Arabic and, if you choose, Turkish or Persian), and you can use them to get your own picture of what drives people in the Islamic world and how they think. You have to invest a lot of time and effort for this. It's exhausting, but if you put the energy into it, you'll see that it's worth it.
