BA in Classical Philology

The BA's programme in Classical Philology provides students with extensive knowledge of antique language and culture. In addition, students get an introduction to the interpretation of antique works of literature, as well as the impact history of antique thought. The degree programme aims to equip students with the necessary skills for critical and systematic academic research. Depending on the chosen specialisation (Latin or Greek), students have to provide evidence of knowledge of the respective language before admission.
