Bachelor of Science Mathematics in Pure Mathematics

The mission of the BS in Mathematics is to educate students in the traditional mathematical disciplines so that students will be prepared to Pursue a graduate degree, or enter a career in mathematics. The BS in Mathematics is distinct from the BS in Secondary Education Mathematics in that the course of study requires a capstone course in which the student will apply mathematical knowledge in an independent research project.
