BS in Family Services Human Services

Mercer's B.S. in Human Services prepares professionals to seek service roles in their communities with the skills and knowledge for making a difference, helping others to lead lives that have meaning and purpose. The human services professional is dedicated to the goal of helping clients become self-sufficient through teaching problem-solving, using case management skills, and using client-centered mental health practices. With a course of study in Family Services, students learn to work with families in a non-counseling role.
